Young People’s Leadership Training Programme

The Heart of Pitsea is interested in developing a programme to improve the skills, abilities and confidence of those participating in the Youth YOUnique Generation Youth Forum.

The forum, which meets fortnightly, consists of 10 young people aged between 13-19. The forum is a group of young people who are responsible for gathering information from their peers about the types of projects they would like to see in the local community. They have an allocated quarterly budget which allows them the freedom to develop and fund designated activities for young people. They are also asked to comment on proposals that directly impact on young people.

A budget of up to £5,000 has been allocated for this programme. It is anticipated that the programme will run for up to four months or for 12 sessions. A copy of the specification and Heart of Pitsea plan can be found on the Heart of Pitsea project pages on the CVS website.

If you have any questions, please contact the Heart of Pitsea Coordinator on 07572001671 or email hello@heartofpitsea.co.uk.

The closing date for proposals is 12.00 (midnight) on Tuesday 18 April. Applications need to be submitted to admin@heartofpitsea.co.uk or by post to:
