YOUTH YOUNIQUE GENERATIONON THE HOP!
Heart Of Pitsea’s very own youth forum – called YOUth YOUnique Generation and led by local teenagers – have been very busy making plans for their summer programme of activities for all ages including young people and their families. Beginning on 25th July, they are presenting weekly sports and games activities every Monday for six weeks at Elm Green in Pitsea. The project is called YOUnique 6 and apart from games such as rounders, football, cricket, basketball and handball, the programme also features special events such as Freerunning (25th Jul), a Climbing Wall (1st Aug), Tennis (8th Aug), Rugby Skills (15th Aug), a Ninja Obstacle Course (22nd Aug) and Parents Walking Netball (29th Aug). You can also meet our Walk 4 Wellbeing team and have a stroll whilst meeting other like-minded people, if you would prefer a slower pace. All activities are completely FREE and are from 11.00am – 3.00pm. Bring a picnic and enjoy the fun!
YYG have also launched a brand new weekly youth club called YOUth YOUnity – this is being held at The Place every Wednesday from 4.00pm until 6.00pm. A tuck shop is available every session and a range of fun activities are being lined up for the coming months.
